The space of the bedroom is the location for the experience of remembering and memory-formation—a place to return to. Whatever variations a bedroom may consist of, it is a defining space where the fusion of dream and reality make their impressions. This project explores my migration and self-development through the stories the twenty bedrooms I have inhabited have created with me. I am bridging a connection between the bedroom as a visual journal where I record, participate and create meaning with my existence. Through abstract paper reconstructions I am recreating the essence of these spaces endowed with history, ambiguity and narrative navigation.
